Dr. Sheri Millard opened the doors to Millard Family Chiropractic and Acupuncture (currently dba Millard Family Chiropractic & Wellness) in Omaha Nebraska on April 8, 2002. She graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College in 2001. Born and raised in Treynor IA, Dr. Sheri Millard comes from strong family ties and that same standard is portrayed in her practice.
Her specialties include, but are not limited to, pediatric care, pregnancy care, nutrition, detoxification, acupuncture, and a multitude of chiropractic treatment techniques for all ages. Family care is strongly encouraged in the office as Dr. Sheri expresses that every person, young and old, has a nervous system and should have chiropractic care for a better life.
Dr. Erin grew up in Fort Madison, IA with one sister. Since she was little, she always wanted a career in the medical field, but she realized that her brain turned away from the use of drugs for healing. She went to the University of Northern Iowa for college with a biomedical major and chemistry minor for undergrad. After graduating she attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City and graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic in December 2010. She moved to Omaha in May of 2011 and started working with MWC in September of 2011. Dr. Erin loves treating patients of all ages but she especially loves treating babies and kids.
Dr. Erin has been married for 12 years to her husband Tom and they have four boys together. As if the boys don’t keep her busy enough, she also has an adorable German Shepard puppy named Oakley. During her free time, she loves running, cooking and doing activities outdoors with her family.
Dr. Christie grew up on her family farm outside of Sioux Falls, SD where she learned the importance of family, work ethic, and compassion. She became interested in chiropractic in college when she started doing maintenance care because her lower back kept locking up and she was having headaches. Dr. Christie attended South Dakota State University where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Education and Health Sciences. After that she attended Northwestern Health Science University in Bloomington, Minnesota where she graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic. She loves treating patients of all ages with the goal to improve someone’s life.
Dr. Christie met her husband while attending South Dakota State University and they have two dogs who also gets adjusted. I am sure you will hear her talk about them when getting adjusted. Dr. Christie and her husband enjoy doing outdoor activities such as off roading with their jeep, mountain biking and snowmobiling in the back country.
Dr. April Johnston grew up in small town Nebraska and graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2007 with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Prior to attending chiropractic college, she was a Regents Scholar and Honors student at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Following graduation, Dr. Johnston practiced in Minnesota and Iowa. She moved back to Nebraska in 2012 and started working as an Associate Physician at a clinic in Omaha. She completed her acupuncture certification from Cleveland University in 2013 and was able to immediately start incorporating that into her practice. She also completed classes through the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association (ICPA) and is certified in Webster Technique.
Dr. Johnston is excited to be in the Omaha area and is looking forward to helping people feel better and live healthier lives. She enjoys helping individuals and families live a more natural and holistic lifestyle. Dr. Johnston enjoys spending time with her nine-year-old twin girls and enjoys cooking, reading, and doing a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, and camping.
Dr. Alex grew up all over the Midwest but her family settled outside of Des Moines, IA. She always knew she wanted to be in healthcare and with the opioid epidemic, she loved the natural approach of chiropractic care. Dr. Alex attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she earned her Bachelors in Biology. After that she attended Cleveland University in Kansas City where she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic. She loves treating patients of all ages and clinically deciding what technique adjustment will work with each patient.
Dr. Alex got married in the summer of 2020 to her husband Tyler whom she met while attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. You could say he is the reason she became a full-blown Husker fan. Dr. Alex loves spending time with family and friends, watching movies, playing trivia games, reading and any excuse to be crafty.
